freshmeat.net: Editorials - Too Much Free Software

This is a good article on the downfalls of OSS and all that free software. I for one can vouch of the pain of seeing multiple text editors, and no decent working sound driver (my current Mandrake box won't recognize my A3D card. Go figure).

On the server side of things I love Linux. Apache, Sendmail, etc are beautiful, stable, and powerful.

The desktop still needs some help though.
